Intelligent species.

Isn’t it odd how, when a pet gladly repeats a game one thousand times, we find them pretty stupid and easily amused?
Whereas when we do the same things we don’t think we are.

And isn’t it odd how, when an animal can’t communicate in our ”highly sofisticated and abstract” verbal language it means they are mentally inferior, yet we (the more intelligent) are unable to speak even ONE of the languages of the ”inferior” beings?

Are we not logically supposed to be better than them at learning languages?

Same thing happened during colonization: Indiginous people were unintelligent for not being able to speak english. The intelligent Brits were, somehow, just unable to learn more words those incomprehensible utterings of the barbarians.
